Project
Dreamscapes is a collaborative publication, created by 33 graphic design students, from RMIT University based in Naarm/Melbourne. The aim of this project was for the students of the Graphic Design Diploma, to come together as a team to produce a student publication showing their work under one encompassing theme. Funding for this project was achieved through a Kickstarter campaign, where we reached $2,069 above our original goal of $2,021. We worked with local printers to realise the publication and worked in teams to coordinate the project's timeline and develop the look and feel as a cohesive team project.
I took on a joint role with another student, Jackson Bailey, as the social media manager. Together we created an overarching visual theme/branding for the Dreamscapes Instagram page. This included sneak peaks, designer bios and update posts.
My work was chosen by the cohort as the alternative cover artwork for the Dreamscapes publication. This was offered as a reward tier option which ended up gaining 8 backers.
I also volunteered artwork in the format of prints as another reward tier option to receive alongside the publication.
My personal double page spreads that featured in the publication explore my own interpretation of the theme of Dreamscapes.
